Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker and former factory worker Joseph William Stone II. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was regarded as an academically talented child when she began the second grades at five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she graduated in 1975. She also competed and was crowned at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone relocated to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to pursue a career as models. In less than a month she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. Then, she relocated back to Europe and spent the whole year in Milan in Italy and Paris. But, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene within Europe and decided to take up acting while living there. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories" that was a mixed-review film in the age of twenty.
